Nadia Sood is co-founder and Managing Partner at Impact Investment Partners, a multi-asset investment manager and advisory services firm based in London.
IIP specialises in investing into companies that deliver strong commercial returns and measurable social impact. IIP invests across asset classes and also works with clients to help them build multi-asset portfolios that deliver impact. It also develops tailored financial vehicles and incubates companies.
Nadia has over 15 years’ experience investing into, managing and operating businesses in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to co-founding IIP, Nadia was Executive Vice President (South Asia) and Global Investment Committee Member at SN Power Invest AS, a leading emerging markets renewable energy private equity firm. During her tenure there, she helped grow SN Power in terms of AUM – from $260 million to $1.75 billion during a five-year. She was also directly responsible for all of the company’s investments in South Asia and secured a joint venture with Tata Power to develop and build 4000 MWs of hydropower in India and Nepal, an investment commitment of over $6 billion.
Prior to this, Nadia worked in the Office of the Secretary General Kofi Annan at the United Nations.
Nadia holds a BSFS from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and a Masters degree from Columbia University.
